Shawn McIntosh is a Certified Public Accountant with more than 15 years of experience in public accounting, auditing, tax preparation, bookkeeping, and financial analysis. Her extensive professional background includes experience with the Internal Revenue Service, internal and external auditing, GAAP and SOX compliance, payroll processing, and small business consulting.

Throughout her career, Shawn has worked with individuals and businesses across a variety of industries, helping clients navigate their accounting, tax, and financial needs. Her experience ranges from preparing individual and business tax returns and advising small businesses on accounting procedures and tax strategies to conducting complex financial and operational audits. She also served as a Revenue Agent with the Internal Revenue Service, where she conducted tax audits for individuals and small business owners and developed an in-depth understanding of tax compliance and IRS procedures.

Shawn brings a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy to the Smith CPA team. She takes pride in helping clients better understand their financial picture and providing knowledgeable, dependable support to meet their accounting and tax needs.

Shawn holds a Master of Accounting from Florida Atlantic University, an MBA from Nova Southeastern University, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of California, San Diego. She has been a licensed CPA in the state of Florida since 2011. Outside of her professional work, Shawn gives back to her community as a math tutor and through her involvement in church financial and fundraising initiatives.
